Ingredients:
1 large cauliflower
for the sauce:
1 kg ripe tomatoes
2 onions
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons chopped basil leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil
1.5 grams of margarine
4 grams of bread crumbs
1 tablespoon chopped herbs ( sage, thyme, rosemary and oregano)
2 tablespoons parsley, salt, pepper
Preparation: Pour tomatoes with hot water so they are easier to peel and cut into cubes. Peel and chop onion and braised it on oil. Add tomatoes, chopped garlic and basil, salt. When you boil, reduce heat and cook for another 40 minutes. Put pepper in it. In the meantime, clean and wash the cauliflower and divide into pieces. Steamed for about 20 minutes and strain. The margarine burned crumbs. Add chopped herbs and parsley, spice. Cauliflower spread on the tray, pour part of the sauce and sprinkle bread crumbs. Serve remaining sauce separately.
ABOUT VEGETARIAN TIMES
The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.
—Charles Darwin, English naturalist (1809–1882)
Wild animals never kill for sport. Man is the only one to whom the torture and death of his fellow creatures is amusing in itself.
—James A. Froude, English historian (1818–1894)
If you visit the killing floor of a slaughterhouse, it will brand your soul for life.
—Howard Lyman, author of Mad Cowboy
A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite. And to act so is immoral.
—Leo Tolstoy, Russian novelist (1828–1910)
