Imagine your brain as the main gland that sends throughout the body chemical "messengers" that tell every body how to work.
An important group of these chemical messengers are the prostaglandins (so called because they were originally discovered in the prostate).
Prostaglandins stimulate the body's self-healing system. To create a healthy brain cells (the message senders) and prostaglandins (messengers), the body needed two kinds of fat. These are omega 6 fatty acids found in many oils such as Safflower, sunflower, corn and sesame and omega 3 fatty acids found in linen and pumpkin seeds and nuts . Food from which you can get oil is usually one that contains the most essential fatty acids.
ABOUT VEGETARIAN TIMES
The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.
—Charles Darwin, English naturalist (1809–1882)
Wild animals never kill for sport. Man is the only one to whom the torture and death of his fellow creatures is amusing in itself.
—James A. Froude, English historian (1818–1894)
If you visit the killing floor of a slaughterhouse, it will brand your soul for life.
—Howard Lyman, author of Mad Cowboy
A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite. And to act so is immoral.
—Leo Tolstoy, Russian novelist (1828–1910)

Fur Industry - Is it really so cruel?
petak, 5. veljače 2010.Even more. Research was conducted by PETA in fur farms have revealed that the animals are killed by their steel rod under an electric charge placed in the rectum and literally fry their interior. Broken bones that protrude, respiratory infections and cancerous tumors are some of the injuries and diseases that live animals without veterinary care at one investigated farm.
Animals caught in steel traps for the feet suffer such pain that a bite off their limbs in order to escape. Unable to feed, warm or defense of the attackers, many die horrible deaths before the one who set the trap come to kill them. Others suffer in traps for days until they can not catch and kill. To avoid damage to the skin, the animals are often beaten or overrun to death. Most of the state has no regulations regarding the methods of killing these animals.
Regardless of whether suffering terrible pain traps or the life of agony in a small cage, the animals suffer immensely.

Environmental Reasons to Become Vegetarian
četvrtak, 7. siječnja 2010.There are many environmental impacts of eating meat. The Vegetarian Society claims that meat eating causes deforestation in the way that the rainforest is cleared to grow
grain to raise and feed cattle. The other reason is Water Conservation. It takes 3 to 15 times much water to produce animal protein as it does plant protein. Much water is used to simply fatten up cows for slaughter.
By being a Vegetarian you will help reduce waste and air pollution. All the cattle on the planet produce nearly 100 million tons of methane, which is also a large contributor to global warming. Animal farming produces 65 percent of human related nitrous oxide and 37 percent of all human induced methane. Efficient use of grains is also a reason to become a vegetarian. Animals raised for food consume 90 percent of the soy crop, 80 percent of the corn crop, and a total of 70 percent of grains.

Vegetarianism: A Few Facts
A vegetarian is a person who doesn't eat any type of meat, including fish and poultry. Those who still consume eggs and milk are called “ovo-lacto” vegetarians. Vegetarians have lower blood pressure, have lower rates of cancer and stronger immune systems, have lower incidence of heart disease and stroke, be less likely overweight. A vegetarianism was practiced in Egypt around 3,200 BC, with abstinence from meat upon beliefs in reincarnation. Also it was practiced by early philosophies as Hinduism, Brahinanism, Jainism and Zoroasterianism. The first Vegetarian Society was formed in 1847 in England. The main reason of forming this Society was to dispel the common belief that it's not possible to lead a healthy life without eating meat. Traditionally, vegetarianism has been linked to the people of ancient India. Today, Indians make up more than 70 percent of the world's vegetarian population. Being a vegetarian would alleviate human starvation and in return there would be an increase in growth of wild animals without additonal sufferings on humans or animals. Vegetarianism reduces the amount of violence in the world!
