Although almost implies that we should remove peel from orange before
eating and possibly used only in cakes, nutritionists warn that we should eat the whole orange - with the peel.
While freshly squeezed orange juice contains only 25% of the nutritional value of fruit in the peel, especially the inner white part, there are over 60% of fiber, antioxidant vitamins of whole orange.
The white part of peel that has properties that act to prevent cancer, and contains by far the largest percentage of bioflavonid (antioxidants) and vitamin C.
Nutritionists warn that when you remove the peel from the fruit you should leave as much white peel, also occasionally you can eat and non-peeled orange.
