Fur Industry - Is it really so cruel?

Even more. Research was conducted by PETA in fur farms have revealed that the animals are killed by their steel rod under an electric charge placed in the rectum and literally fry their interior. Broken bones that protrude, respiratory infections and cancerous tumors are some of the injuries and diseases that live animals without veterinary care at one investigated farm.

Animals caught in steel traps for the feet suffer such pain that a bite off their limbs in order to escape. Unable to feed, warm or defense of the attackers, many die horrible deaths before the one who set the trap come to kill them. Others suffer in traps for days until they can not catch and kill. To avoid damage to the skin, the animals are often beaten or overrun to death. Most of the state has no regulations regarding the methods of killing these animals.

Regardless of whether suffering terrible pain traps or the life of agony in a small cage, the animals suffer immensely.
